About the event:
Can street art create beautiful things and beautiful spaces while also bridging the visible divides within the City?
Cape Town has a growing reputation for this resilient art form that has evolved over the years, with significant pieces on display throughout the neighbourhood. Some of the best displays from renowned local and international artists are part of the urban landscape and many times hidden off the beaten track. It’s a world of continuous exploration.
The growing redevelopment of Woodstock has been cautiously welcomed, but the consequent rapid rise in cost of living has largely impacted the tight-knit community. The Woodstock Street Art Tour shows us how graffiti art does not merely act as embellishment for the areas buildings but is also a way to bring positive socio-economical changes within the community.
Explore the outside gallery of street art and graffiti throughout Woodstock on this two-hour walking tour.
Tours accommodate a minimum of five and maximum of 20 people.
