About the event:
Live Design Woodstock street art walking tour (90 min)
Take two hours to immerse yourself in the open-air galleries of Woodstock and the stories of its people, exploring the artworks of world-renowned street artists such as locals Freddie Sam, Faith47, Falko One and international artists Know Hope (Israel), Jaz (Argentina) and Gaia (USA).
The guided tour shows how street art does not merely act as embellishment for the area’s buildings but can also catalyse positive socio-economic changes within the community.
As you find the thought-provoking art pieces, take a moment to consider how street art can be the medium between creating beautiful things and beautiful spaces and the ability to bridge visible divides in our neighbourhoods.

More about Woodstock
Woodstock is one of the most vibrant hubs in South Africa, populated by creative minds, working creative studios and boutiques all sharing the same space with a tightly knit community.
For many the recent revamp of Woodstock has brought about welcome change, but increased living costs have largely impacted the multi-racial working class community of the area.
